Abstract
White paper exploring how existing regulations may be applied to the IoT and how they can be used to improve security in the IoT ecosystem.
Authors:
The regulatory landscape around IoT is expected to change significantly in the near future with governments and regulatory bodies considering new regulation specific to IoT. However, there is a wide range of existing regulations applicable to the IoT that are likely not being used to their full potential to support IoT security. The white paper looks specifically at types of sanctions, different areas of regulation, and how use of existing laws can help improve IoT security.
